While South Carolina and the rest of the country benefits from the presence of disaster relief aid and emergency response organizations, criticisms often arise regarding ‘their responses' timeliness, coordination, and effectiveness, especially in rural areas across the country where it can be difficult to get boots on the ground when in need.

 

These challenges stem from various factors, including limited emergency management supplies, equipment, assets, training resources, personnel, and funding. Our organization aims to address these gaps and support existing disaster relief and emergency response teams in overcoming these obstacles.
